This is a new page we decided to add. I hope you enjoy hearing from our extended families and what they have to say.
Hi Samantha, It has been about 9 or 10 months since I've emailed you with pictures of (Cupid) now named Duke. He is the best dog in the world. You should be so proud of his quality and his temperament. He is funny, playful, sweet, gentle, mischievous, but most of all wonderful with kids. Attached are some pictures that give you a flavor of his personality. ANNE
Hi Guys, I wanted to share with you the picture of Bella's recent graduation from puppy training. We start intermediate training on January 20, 2009. We have set a goal to have Bella be certified in good citizen training in order to visit hospitals, nursing home and schools to be an ambassador for the breed and big dogs in general. She is so sweet and loving, well behaved and obedient (for the most part, it hard to be nice and obedient when playing with your brother the schnauzer!) We love Bella more than words can express, she has been the perfect addition to our home and family. Thank you so much for the opportunity to have such a wonderful dog.... We will keep you posted on her progress. and sent more pictures as we finish each class!
Thanks again and Merry Christmas!
Charles and Brandi Dennis and Bella Of course!
Hey Sam,
Just thought I would send you an email and tell you how Duke (aka. Pistol) is doing. I decided to rename him, I thought Duke just fit him so well. He is really just a big couch potato. He has been so great. When we got him fixed, he didn't even have to wear the cone. Anyways just thought I would send a picture of him with my parents dogs in their backyard!

Hello, just a quick hi and picture of Beretta. Yes we kept the name, she is growing fast at her last vet visit she weighed 50lbs. that was about a month ago. She is a wonderful dog, very easy going and she follows instruction well. She was housebroken in about 2 weeks. I will send another picture in a few months. Thanks, Mabel and Gordon Collicott
(I get updates all the time from this family and I love it! ) (I just love this puppy!!!)
We have been nothing but pleased with Bree since the day we brought her home! She has always been healthy and playful and sooo smart. Bree is our most personable Dane and has always been the "Greeter" when we have visitors. She has a beautiful headpiece and amazing bone structure. She also amazes me as to how quickly she was potty trained, lets me trim her nails every 2 weeks, eats great, and has learned so many commands in such a short amount of time. Jason has been working with her on obedience and agility which she is excelling at and really seems to enjoy it. It helps that she is food motivated. On another note, Samantha has always been very honest and always there when I need her advice or just had a few questions. I was constantly asking for updated pics of Bree when we were waiting for her to be old enough to come home and she never had a problem getting them to me and always kept me updated on their progress. If we are ever looking to add yet another Dane to our growing family, we would absolutely come back to Great Plains Danes because we know we would get an excellent well rounded and healthy puppy from Samantha. Thanks again Samantha, we couldn't be happier. And you know more pics will be coming your way soon!
